Born and raised in Hong Kong, I vividly remember my after school art lessons and my design class in high school being the best parts of my day.

I learned about product design before the industry boomed. It wasn't popular in Asia at the time, so I took initiative and taught myself through YouTube, Coursera, Google courses, and building projects on the side. Taking a leap to move to the Bay Area to study Design and Cognitive Science at UC Davis felt like the obvious next step, and since then I've been shipping real products at Google, AI startups, and everything in between.

At the end of the day, what drives me is making people's lives easier and more enjoyable. If a user isn't satisfied, I won't stop until they are.
